Dr. Scott T. Vantre is a foot and ankle surgeon who is uniquely qualified to meet your foot and ankle needs. Dr. Vantre is extensively trained in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery. He utilizes extensive conservative treatments, including stem cell therapy, and will proceed with surgery only as necessary, for all foot and ankle conditions. He is uniquely qualified as one of only four surgeons in Central Virginia to be Certified in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot/ Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Vantre is a graduate of Wake Forest University, Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, and The Graduate Hospital Foot and Ankle Surgery Residency Program of the Drexel University School of Medicine. Dr. Vantre continues to be at the forefront of foot and ankle surgery training, as he is the Assistant Fellowship Director/ Director of Fellowship Research for the Virginia Fellowship in Reconstruction, Revision, and Limb Preservation of the Foot and Ankle. In addition to providing advanced surgical skills and techniques to his patients, Dr. Vantre continues to be recognized by Our Health magazine for his Best Bedside Manner, and has been a Richmond Magazine Top Docs Winner for 12 years. Dr. John J. Kadukammakal joined Virginia Foot & Ankle Center in July 2011. He is Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. A native of Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Kadukammakal completed his undergraduate education at Widener University, and received his Doctorate at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a three year surgical residency program in Chester, PA.
Dr. Amy M. Kruger joined Virginia Foot & Ankle Center in July 2018. She is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Kruger completed her undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame and received her Doctorate from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University in Iowa in 2015. She completed a three-year surgical residency program at St. Luke's University Health Network in Allentown, PA. She is trained in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery and is really enjoying practicing here in Richmond, VA.
